Kids’ Programs
Programs at the Medfield Public Library
All programs are FREE thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Medfield Library. Programs are generally held upstairs in the Children’s Room or downstairs in the Meeting Room. During the warm months, some programs may be held outside in Warrior Park. Advance registration is required for certain programs, due to space and supplies being limited. Feel free to contact us for more information.

STUFFED ANIMAL CLINIC
Drop into the Children’s Program Room
Saturdays, April 12
Does your stuffed animal need a check up? Drop in between 1-4pm for a check-up with one of our stuffed animal specialists.
Check in at the front desk for an “appointment.” Just like at the real doctor’s office, you may need to wait a little bit before it’s your turn.
No prior registration is required.
Best for ages 2-6 with a caregiver. Please limit to one stuffed animal per child.
STAYCATION CRAFTERNOON
Drop into the Children’s Program Room
Tuesday, April 22
Planning to staycation during April break? Looking for things to do? Kids and caregivers can drop into the Activity Room between 1pm and 4pm to create craft projects.
No prior registration is required.
Best for ages 3 and up with a caregiver.
*Per library policy, children under the age of 9 should be supervised by a caregiver while visiting the library.
3-DAY DRAMA WORKSHOP
1st and 2nd graders can try their hand at acting AND stay busy over April Break.
April 24, April 25, April 26 (2:00-3:30pm)
Actors will build skills while rehearsing a short play on April 24, 25, and 26. The final performance will be open for anyone to attend on April 26th at 3pm.
No prior experience is required, but actors do need to be able to attend all three sessions and registration is required.

Emerging readers are encouraged. Rehearsing a play is a great way to practice literacy skills.

KIDS' YOGA
Little Yogis can join Certified Children’s Yoga Instructor, Adrienne Mandigo, for yoga and mindfulness.

LEGO CLUB
Join fellow Brick enthusiasts for 45 minutes of LEGO creativity and building. Each week, LEGO Club’s creations are displayed in the library for all to admire.

TUMMY TIME
Exclusively for pre-walkers and their caregiver(s), this relaxed program is perfect for baby’s development.
